Fashion In Bloom Gets New Participants

On top of the already extensive list of exhibitors for the 2006 Fashion In Bloom event, Garden Centers of America (GCA) announced the following companies will be joining the team:

Fashion In Bloom will take place Sept. 20-23, 2006, at six locations in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It will be a forum for these companies to showcase the newest, hottest plants consumers will be looking for in 2007, according to GCA.

The event will give the horticulture industry the opportunity to view new plant material such as annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, vines and tropical plants.

“This show presents a fabulous opportunity for merchants in the horticultural business. It allows them to preview the latest garden designs and marketing trends and also meet the new companies that are joining us for the first time at our 2006 event,” said Clint Albin, project manager for Fashion in Bloom. “I’m very interested to see what exciting and innovative plants our new dealers bring to the show and how their products will influence American gardens in the spring of 2007.”

Fashion in Bloom begins Sept. 19 with Media Day. Sept. 20-22 will focus on industry and trade and all locations will host a Consumer Day on Sept. 23.
