Griffin and Hortus USA announce master distribution deal
Griffin Greenhouse Supplies announced an exclusive master distributorship agreement with Hortus USA Corp., the manufacturer of Hortus IBA Water Soluble Salts, a U.S. EPA registered plant rooting product. Hortus is the exclusive U.S. importer of rooting products produced by Rhizopon b.v. of Holland. Effective immediately Griffin will be stocking and offering Hortus IBA Water Soluble Salts, which growers make into K-IBA plant rooting solutions.
“Griffin is adding to its legacy of leading the industry by working with one of the most advanced plant rooting products in the industry today. Griffin will now be able to offer its customers these world-class rooting products that deliver the latest technology for improved plant rooting,” said George Grant, Griffin GGSPro specialist.
“We recognize the value of the Hortus offering and now with the addition of these products added to the Griffin portfolio, we can now offer a more complete package of products and services to our customers.,” said Bill Riffey, director of sales for Griffin Greenhouse Supplies. The Hortus product offering will be shipped directly from our Woodridge, Illinois facility so we can keep freight rates at a minimum for our customers,” continued Riffey.
