Griffin Greenhouse Supplies acquisition builds presence in Midwest

Griffin Greenhouse Supplies announced the acquisition of Waldo & Associates based in Perrysburg, Ohio. This move strengthens Griffin’s presence in the Midwest, expanding its reach and offering a broader range of products and services to both Griffin and Waldo customers.

Griffin, which has been in operation since 1947, serves customers nationwide through 16 distribution centers. Waldo, a regional distributor and greenhouse manufacturer, has specialized in serving small- and medium-sized businesses for over 40 years. The acquisition allows both companies to combine resources, enhancing their service to growers, nurseries, and independent garden centers.

“With this expansion, Griffin ensures a strong and personal presence in the Midwest region while adding a suite of services to the Griffin and Waldo customer base,” said managing director Andrew Barry.

Waldo’s Perrysburg location will remain operational under the Griffin brand, contributing to the company’s mission of improving efficiency and product availability across its network of service centers. The acquisition also allows Griffin to expand its vendor relationships and offer faster delivery to its customers.
