Harnois and Dubois partner for crop solutions
Harnois Greenhouses and Dubois Agrinovation have announced a partnership to provide comprehensive solutions for open-field and berry growers in Canada and the U.S. The collaboration integrates Harnois’ high tunnel greenhouses with Dubois’ custom irrigation systems to address challenges like yield predictability, crop quality and operating costs.
This partnership builds on a project in Quebec, where 170 TunnelPro Plus greenhouses were installed alongside tailored irrigation systems. Results from the project included increased productivity in the first season, reduced labor and machinery expenses, decreased water usage and lower reliance on crop protection products.
“This strategic partnership with Dubois Agrinovation allows us to provide producers with a turnkey solution adapted to new market demands and the challenges of climate change,” said Corenthin Chassouant, vice president of greenhouse sales at Harnois Greenhouses.
The solutions target producers managing areas of at least half a hectare and aim to extend growing seasons while supporting sustainable farming practices. Both companies emphasize the importance of efficient resource management in meeting the realities of modern agriculture.
Harnois and Dubois have over 60 years of experience each in greenhouse technology and irrigation solutions, respectively, making this partnership a significant step in advancing protected agriculture.
