Hemp, Inc. To Establish Hemp Processing Facilities, Kins Communities In Florida

2 minute read
Hemp, Inc. is proceeding with plans to build processing facilities in Florida and additional Kins Communities throughout the state. The company is in the initial stages of establishing hemp processing facilities, which have been a strong suite of the company given their success in Oregon and North Carolina.

Hemp, Inc. plans on equipping Florida hemp farmers with the infrastructure they need to ensure the success of hemp in the state. They seek to establish processing facilities throughout the state, from the Florida Panhandle down to Homestead, Florida. This will benefit local hemp farmers and the Kins Community as each cultivation facility needs a processing center nearby.

“Hemp, Inc. is planning to be a dominant player in Florida. We are looking to build infrastructure for hemp in the state to help hemp farmers avoid a lot of the pitfalls that farmers have faced in other states. The Florida climate is right for hemp so it’s really just a matter of ensuring that there are proper processing facilities once the hemp has been harvested,” said Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. “I decided to put my own money into the Kins Community venture as oppose to having Hemp, Inc. invest and thereby create the perfect environment to grow hemp in. I believe that the additional Kins Communities will be a great resource to people in the state and will boost Florida’s hemp production once they are built out and fully operational.”

A Kins Community is a “‘back to the land’ movement similar to the sixties… but with a template. It is a ‘settlement,’ owned and developed by people who prefer living with nature rather than in cities,” according to the Veterans Village Kins Community website. Veterans Village was the first Kins Community established by Hemp, Inc. CEO Bruce Perlowin.
