Kenney, a third-year student, focuses her research on designing accessible public parks and using VR technology to model urban flooding. Her work aims to address environmental challenges and create inclusive green spaces.

“This scholarship honors our father’s belief in the power of education and his passion for the green industry,” said Vanessa Finney, executive vice president of MANTS. “We are thrilled to support Elliott Kenney’s educational journey and look forward to her contributions to the industry.”

HRI’s scholarship program has awarded over $10 million in support of horticulture professionals since its establishment in 1962, fostering industry growth and educational development.
