Illinois Recreational Cannabis Hits Record Sales In June
Illinois adult use cannabis sales hit $47,646,437.25 in June, a record number since recreational sales became legal in January. A total of 994,545 items were sold in June with $35,256,165.45 coming from in-state resident sales and $12,390,271.80 coming from out-of-state resident sales.

Retail sales of medical cannabis for June totaled $29,652,555.16, including $13,731,142.25 in dry flower sales and $15,921,412.91 in concentrates/infused-products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 58,229 unique patients, who purchased 988,889 grams of dry cannabis. As of June 30, 2020, Illinois has 55 licensed medical cannabis dispensaries.
