International Plantscape Awards Now Accepting Applications

The International Plantscape Awards is now accepting applications through April 13, 2018.

The AmericanHort International Plantscape Awards recognize outstanding achievements in interior plantscape design, installation, creativity, renovation, and innovation. These awards celebrate the strides of interior plantscapers to connect people with plants in remarkable ways.

Entries are judged on their own merit rather than against each other. Award winners earn a designation of gold or platinum based on points scored from information and photos provided. Certain submissions may be awarded the coveted Diamond and Emerald judges’ awards for the best overall entries.

Award submissions are judged by a panel of distinguished plantscapers who serve on the AmericanHort Interior Plantscape Community. Award recipients find that the honor becomes a selling point with current and future customers and therefore is a business asset as well as accolade.

Submission categories and details are:

  • Categories whose installation may have been completed during the past two years (May 2015 to April 2017) are: Design; Installation; Major Renovation; Atrium and Conservatory; Living Wall; and Patio, Balcony and Roof Garden.
  • A single project may be entered in multiple categories when appropriate. If the same project is entered in more than one category, a separate entry form and fee must be submitted.
  • Projects that have previously received an International Plantscape Award may not be re-entered in the same category.
  • Categories whose installation must have been completed during the past year (May 2016 to April 2017) are Special Event and Holiday; Silk, Replica and Preserved; Horticultural Service; and Technician Recognition.

The International Plantscape Awards will be presented during Cultivate’18, July 14-17, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio.
