“It is very exciting to join the dynamic team at J. Berry Nursery. Since it’s founding, J. Berry Nursery has been an influential player by offering some of the most innovative plants in the industry and it is an honor to be able to continue my career here,” Lecompte said. “Because research and new product development are a priority, the sky is the limit and I’m so thrilled to be a part of it.”

The company also has hired Jonathan Scott to be the new assistant grower, ensuring “that every plant that leaves J. Berry Nursery will delight and inspire gardeners.”

Scott previously was employed by Rockwell Farms.

“Our team is becoming quite diverse, with different ages, experiences and backgrounds across the board,” Berry said. “That helps us serve our customers better, because our customer base is also diverse, in geography, location, history, and interests. Because our end goal is to produce plants that delight our customers, adding Judson and Jonathan to our team helps us deliver on our promise.”
