KRSNetwork Presents 2006 Pesticide Industry Report

KRSNetwork is providing the second annual U.S. Pesticide Industry Report, which provides details on changes during the 2006 calendar year within the pesticide industry. All information provided is from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is presented in two parts: The first identifies new introductions that occurred in 2006, and the second summarizes activity by category.

Part 1 provides detailed information on new companies; new products, including formulation, pesticide type and restricted use; new active ingredients; new MRIDs; and all new products for wheat, soybeans, corn, golf courses and products registered to control wood-destroying organisms.

Part 2 summarizes information by categories, including the top 25 pesticide companies by number of products registered, the top 25 most active companies for product introductions, the top 25 most active ingredients in new products, the top MRID records for 2006, the top 25 sites controlled by actively registered products and the top 25 pests on new products.

This report was developed to provide the regulatory industry and those interested a snapshot of all major changes registered with the EPA during 2006.
