Kurt Dramm inducted into Commercial Growers of Wisconsin Hall of Fame for contributions to greenhouse innovation
The Commercial Growers of Wisconsin (CGW) has inducted Kurt Dramm into its Hall of Fame, recognizing his significant contributions and lasting positive impact on the horticulture and floriculture industry.
Dramm co-founded the Dramm Company, which grew into a leading manufacturer of greenhouse equipment and gardening products. His family accepted the award in his memory, expressing deep gratitude for the recognition of his lifelong impact on the industry.
Dramm led the Dramm Corporation for over 45 years and expanded the business into four segments: Commercial Greenhouse Equipment, Retail Gardening Products, Drammatic Organic Fertilizer and DRAMMwater. Dramm passed away on May 16, 2023.
The induction ceremony took place on Oct. 9 at Natural Beauty Growers in Denmark, Wisconsin. Dramm’s children, Heidi and Hans, and wife, Marlene, expressed deep gratitude and received the award on his behalf.
The CGW is an organization comprised of wholesale and retail plant production business owners, employees, greenhouse suppliers, horticultural students and other advocates dedicated to the advancement of Wisconsin’s horticulture and floriculture industries.
