Paul Ecke de Guatemala Wins Award
Paul Ecke Ranch recently announced that its Guatemalan facility, Paul Ecke de Guatemala, has won Agricultural Exporter of the Year award from AGEXPRONT, the Guatemalan association of exporters of non-traditional products. Paul Ecke de Guatemala previously won Agricultural Exporter of the Year in 1999.
AGEXPRONT President Carlos Paiz presided over the ceremony on Oct. 4, 2005, which was attended by the president of Guatemala, Oscar Berger, the minister of agriculture, minister of economy, minister of finance, minister of competitiveness and the president of the Central Bank.
“Winning Agricultural Exporter of the Year for the second time demonstrates that our employees in Guatemala are doing an amazing job, especially our General Manager Byron Calderón, who oversees the entire operation,” said Paul Ecke III, CEO of Ecke Ranch. “This is a well-deserved honor, and we’re extremely proud of our entire team in Guatemala.”
