Midwest Groundcovers names Paul Pirkle as president

Midwest Groundcovers has appointed Paul R. Pirkle to the position of president. Pirkle brings extensive experience in executive leadership, sales team training and business operations.

Pirkle holds an MBA from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and minor in Management from Hanover College. He has a proven track record of visionary leadership, strategy development and team collaboration.

“I am excited to be a part of the Midwest Groundcovers team. We produce high quality product in lovely nurseries with exceptional people who have a customer-first attitude. It’s a perfect combination,” Pirkle said.

He most recently served as president of Mid America Paper Recycling, a national recycling firm and scrap processor, where he initiated KPI and tracking processes for production and inventory, launched a comprehensive marketing plan, and developed a large account management program.

“Paul and I have known each other for several years now, and I know him to be a highly skilled business leader. He shares our Midwest Values and cares about both business results and the success and well-being of those on the team. I feel extremely fortunate to have him joining Midwest Groundcovers as our new President,” Christa Orum-Keller, chairman of Midwest Groundcovers said.
