Mycorrhizal Applications has announced the introduction of CytoFlor plant growth regulator. Through the launch of CytoFlor, a formulation of the PGR 6-benzyladenine (6-BA) is now labeled for use on ornamental plants. Produced by Valent BioSciences, CytoFlor is made from a powerful PGR formulation that has been in use in the agriculture industry for many years.

The active ingredient in CytoFlor, 6-BA, is an essential plant hormone for the growth and overall development of plants. It promotes cell division and differentiation in plant roots and shoots and by applying this plant hormone, growers can harness these natural processes to gain greater control over the growth and habit of many ornamental plants.
