National Floriculture Forum Heads to CanadaSource: National Floriculture Forum

Greenhouse and floriculture faculty, graduate students and industry partners will come together for the 2014 National Floriculture Forum in Winnipeg, Canada in May.

Greenhouse and floriculture faculty, graduate students and industry partners will come together for the 2014 National Floriculture Forum in Winnipeg, Canada from May 14-15.

The first day will consist of research and station updates that will allow attendees to update the group on recent advances, challenges and opportunities in their research, teaching, extension or businesses.

The following day attendees will immerse themselves in the sphagnum peat industry with a tour highlighting peat bogs being actively harvested, peat processing facilities and a restored bog. Later that day will be a graduate student poster competition and social hour followed by a banquet dinner.
