The National Industrial Hemp Council (NIHC) has partnered with law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to offer a free webinar highlighting hemp employers’ obligations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

National Industrial Hemp Council logoCOVID-19 is likely the most challenging situation ever faced by employers in modern society. COVID-19 remains rampant in the United States, and for employers this means taking on the overwhelming responsibility of ensuring that the workplace is safe for all employees to come to work every day and not be afraid of being exposed to this potentially deadly disease.

For those in the industrial hemp sphere – many of whom have only been employers since 2018 – the challenge poses an existential threat to continuing to do business. This presentation will look at emerging workplace issues related to COVID, and provide guidance and best practices for both new and long-term employers to draw on while navigating these unique challenges and ensuring that the employees are kept safe and healthy to the best of your ability.

Starting in January, NIHC will be offering quarterly webinars exclusively for its members.
