NBC Reporter to Speak at SAF Congressional Actions Days

The Society of American Florists has announced NBC Capitol Hill correspondent Kelly O’Donnell will be the guest speaker during SAF Congressional Action Days, March 11-12, 2013 in Washington, D.C.

O’Donnell will speak at the annual SAFPAC Dinner on March 11.

SAFPAC, the industry’s political action committee, “is a vital part of our effort to be heard in Washington. One of the ways we can thank its supporters is by giving them the opportunity to hear a high-level perspective from an exciting speaker like award-winning journalist Kelly O’Donnell,” said SAF’s Government Relations Chairman David Mitchell, AAF, of Mitchell’s Flowers in Orland Park, Ill.

O’Donnell contributes to NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, TODAY, and MSNBC, and appears as a panelist on Meet the Press and The Chris Matthews Show. She also has anchored NBC News broadcasts and produced stories for Dateline.
