NFF to Meet in Florida in March

The National Floriculture Forum (NFF) will meet from March 2-4, in central Florida.

The NFF is an annual educational meeting for greenhouse growers, industry leaders, university faculty, graduate students and government scientists from academic institutions, governmental agencies and the greenhouse industry. This group of floriculturists have been meeting since 1999.

The NFF brings together diverse floricultural communities with the objectives to 1) address issues of importance to the floriculture industry, 2) form collaborative relationships, and 3) improve communication within the American floriculture industry to share and disseminate information.

Plan to arrive in Florida on March 1. On March 2, the group will travel to Apopka to visit Roseville Farms, Live Trends, the Mid Florida Research & Extension Center of University of Florida and Knox Nursery.

On March 3,  the day will begin with a business meeting with presentations followed by a trip to Winter Park, which is an “America in Bloom” award winner, and then a private tour of Leu Gardens in Orlando. On March 4, you can depart for home or visit the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.

Registration for the NFF is only $150 for 3 days thanks to financial support from the American Floral Endowment. To register, go to http://endowment.org and click on the National Floriculture Forum link, followed by the Registration link.
