Orchid show highlights tropical beauty, workshops

The 77th Santa Barbara International Orchid Show will showcase exotic orchid displays, workshops, and events from March 7-9, 2025, at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, California.

Themed “Exotic Gardens,” the show will feature intricate orchid arrangements replicating tropical landscapes. Attendees can participate in hands-on workshops, including Kokedama and orchid mounting sessions, and free repotting demonstrations will also be offered.

A new VIP Tour Guide Experience provides a 45-minute guided walkthrough led by an American Orchid Society judge. There is a fee for participating.

Special events include “Orchid Serenity,” a yoga and sound bath session on March 6 and “Orchids After Dark” on March 8. The latter promises exclusive evening access with live music, lighting and a cash bar.
