The Paper Pot 2.0 Machine from Air Tray Technologies by Blackmore is designed to optimize plant health and automate greenhouse operations with a capacity of up to 1,200 pots or 300 trays per hour. It accommodates pots of one gallon and larger and allows growers to select any growing media without restrictions.

The system promotes healthy root development by ensuring consistent air circulation and water drainage, leading to fibrous roots that enhance nutrient uptake and plant resilience.

The Paper Pot 2.0 also reduces labor and shipping costs by integrating automation. It is compatible with the Air Tray rack system, which centralizes production and minimizes employee movement.

“The Paper Pot 2.0 Machine offers many advantages,” said Lars Jensen, inventor of the system.

Growers in all sectors can benefit from improved root health at a lower cost compared to traditional growing methods. Blackmore’s Air Tray Technologies was showcasing the system at IPM Essen. The company also presented its patented Air Tray Technologies for Ellepot and its Plant-It-Friendly sleeve, which reduces plastic use at retail by up to 95%.
