Philips Lighting Adds North American Plant Specialist
Dr. Abhay Thosar has joined Philips as a plant specialist for horticultural LED lighting in North America.
Dr. Abhay Thosar has joined Philips as a plant specialist for horticultural LED lighting in North America.
In this role, Thosar will be responsible for identifying and advising on the best LED lighting recipes for plant production in North America.
Thosar has a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology, and is a certified professional agrolist from Ontario Institute of Agrologists of Guelph, Ontario.
He has 11 years experience in nutrition management, PGRs, environmental controls and IPM for field crops, greenhouse production and commercial plant tissue culture laboratory.
