Plainview Growers to Become Dümmen Rooting Station
Plainview Growers, founded in 1985, focuses on young plant production. The company has more than 500,000 square feet of greenhouse space and almost 750,000 square feet of outdoor growing area, and commensurate production and shipping space in two locations. Plainview is at the forefront of energy independence research with Rutgers University, testing the use of unique grass pellets in pellet furnaces.
Plainview will be taking on the rooting programs handled for the past three seasons by Connecticut-based CK Greenhouses, which will be focusing on finished plant production going forward.
Specific details on affected programs will be available in the near future. For more information, visit www.dummenusa.com to contact the Dümmen USA office.
