Plants at Work Makes Workplace Headway
On Tuesday, Oct. 19, McRae Anderson, director of Plants at Work and president of McCaren Designs and MJ Gilhooley, Plants at Work media relations director and president of Gilhooley Consulting, will be presenting a series of research projects completed by leading horticulture and architectural experts from around the globe to prime facility executives from across the country.
“We have been extensively engaged in targeted end-user promotions regarding the Plants at Work booth and our presentation, which has a prime spot on the program…the one time during the show when there is no other competing educational sessions throughout the conference,” added Gilhooley.
Plants at Work claims a full-proof strategy to convey to thousands of prospective clients the irrefutable value and critical importance of installing and maintaining interior plants in every building. The booth at the show is expected be an eye-catching exhibit because of Kraft Gardens Fort Pierce, Fla. and Cactus and Tropicals Salt Lake City, Utah. Kraft donated all the plants that will be on display, while Cactus and Tropicals, potted and delivered all the plants. Cactus and Tropicals also shared costs and time towards producing a booth give-away, designed to drive traffic directly to all the Plants at Work sponsors via the Web site, while putting the green message immediately into play.
“End user shows such as this are an unprecedented opportunity to have direct and significant impact on the profitability of our industry,” said Anderson. “In addition to our selected presentation at USGBC’s Green Build in November, we are actively seeking sponsors to produce a similar presence at the upcoming Today’s Facility Managers show, (The TFM Show), April 20-22 in Chicago and BOMA International Building Conference and Office Building Show, June 25-28, Anaheim, Calif.,” he added.
