Poinsettia Webinar a Success
It’s not too late to learn the latest strategies for PGRs on poinsettias. In an effort to equip growers with the information they need to succeed, GPN successfully presented its second webinar on plant growth regulars on July 31, 2008.
Dr. Jim Barrett, professor of floriculture at the University of Florida and consulting editor of GPN, was the speaker; leading a discussion on “New Strategies for PGRs on Poinsettias.” The webinar delved into the intricacies of how different growth regulators and application methods can impact poinsettia production.

Barrett presented some of the research he has been conducting in Gainesville, Fla., to provide growers with a better understanding of how to produce a successful poinsettia crop.
