PPA Recognizes 10 Individuals with 2018 Special Awards
The Perennial Plant Association announced the recipients of its 2018 Special Awards during the 36th Annual Perennial Plant Symposium in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Seven distinguished leaders of the perennial industry were nominated by their peers for the outstanding impact they continue to make.
This year’s award recipients are:
- Academic Award: Dr. David L. Sanford, Berks Campus, Penn State University
- Award of Merit: John Hoffman, Hoffman Nursery
- Garden Media Award: Susan Martin, Gardener Sue’s News
- Grower Award: John & Jill Hoffman, Hoffman Nursery, Inc.
- International Contributor Award: Georg Uebelhart, Jelitto Staudensamen
- Retail Sales Award: Brent and Becky Heath, Brent & Becky’s Bulbs
- Service Award: Steven & Carolyn Still
- Young Professional Award: David Hoffman, Hoffman Nursery, Inc.
