Priva, Plant Empowerment Academy launch free training series

Priva, in partnership with the Plant Empowerment Academy, hosted a free online kickoff webinar on Sept. 3 to introduce a new four-part training series for greenhouse growers.

The 30-minute session previewed the four offered courses that combine plant empowerment principles with Priva’s advanced climate control systems. The training is designed to help growers improve crop health, manage resources more efficiently and increase profitability.

Featured speakers include Jan O. Voogt, co-founder of the Plant Empowerment Academy, and Hein Jasperse, horticulture consultant at Priva, with Henry Vangameren moderating. “Our aim is to connect proven theory with practical applications that enable growers to optimize performance,” Voogt said in the announcement.

The four sessions, each about an hour long, will focus on climate and screening strategies:

• Homogeneous Greenhouse Climate through Smart Ventilation

• Effective Moisture Removal through Smart Ventilation and Screening

• Plant Health through Screening Against Radiation Losses

• Plant Balance through RTR Strategy
