Renaissance BioScience, Certis Belchim partner to create an RNAi-based biopesticide
Renaissance BioScience, a company bioengineering microbes for the global agriculture and food industries, announced that it has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) with Certis Belchim.
Under the JDA, the two companies will collaboratively harness Renaissance’s innovative yeast-based RNA interference (RNAi) platform technology to develop and commercialize an environmentally friendly biopesticide against an, as yet, unspecified target pest. This revolutionary technology holds promise for addressing agricultural challenges through its targeted approach. This partnership speaks to the companies’ shared commitment to advancing eco-friendly alternatives in pest management.
