SATO Recognizes Specialty Tag & Label 20th Anniversary

SATO recognized Specialty Tag & Label, a SATO Authorized Master Reseller, on its 20th anniversary.

Specialty Tag & Label was established in Flowery Branch, Georgia in 1997 by Ron and Jan Plumlee. At the time, SATO America decided to sell its horticulture products through distributors and Specialty Tag & Label was selected as one of its original Authorized Master Resellers for horticulture printers, tags and labels.

SATO America manufactures tags, labels and signs designed for the horticulture industry to withstand use in harsh environments. Included in the product line are four-color process picture tags, pressure sensitive labels, RFID tags, signs, banners, and printers.

Specialty Tag & Label has expanded from a home-grown company to a 6,000 square foot high bay facility that is dedicated to horticulture identification products.

In addition, Specialty Tag & Label’s distribution territory for SATO America has grown from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and southern Alabama in 1997 to now include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, all of Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and part of Texas (as of January 2017).
