ScottsMiracle-Gro adds to board of directors
ScottsMiracle-Gro announced the addition of Rob Candelino to its board of directors. Candelino, currently the CEO of PetSafe Brands, brings over 25 years of experience in global consumer brand management, including a recent tenure as CEO of Unilever Thailand and Regional Head of Inland ASEAN.
“Rob’s diverse background will make him a valuable resource at a time when we are investing heavily in our brands,” said Jim Hagedorn, chairman and CEO of ScottsMiracle-Gro. Hagedorn emphasized Candelino’s strengths in both marketing and general management.
Candelino replaces Nancy Mistretta, who retired in January. His extensive experience with iconic brands like Dove adds a consumer-oriented perspective to the board as ScottsMiracle-Gro seeks to grow its portfolio. He is the fourth board appointment since 2022, joining members including former Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval.
