Southern Living Plant Collection Adds New GrowersSource: Agility Marketing

Plant Development Services Inc., in conjunction with Southern Living magazine, recently added seven new wholesale growers to the Southern Living Plant Collection’s licensed grower group.

Since spring 2008, the Southern Living Plant Collection has provided Southern consumers with innovative new plants designed to excel in gardens plagued by the South’s unique landscape challenges. Each plant’s inclusion in the collection is the result of evaluations, trials and consumer research. The collection is available in retail garden centers across the Southern United States.

The new growers are South Carolina–based Carolina Nurseries, Inc.; Louisiana-based Country Pines Nursery; Parson’s Nursery in South Carolina; Magnolia Gardens Nursery in Texas; Florida-based Harrell’s Nursery, Inc.; Greenforest Nursery, Inc. in Mississippi; and Transplant Nursery, Inc. in Georgia.

“More and more gardeners across the Southeast will have a chance to enjoy the superior offerings of the Southern Living Plant Collection this spring,” said Kip McConnell, director of PDSI. For more information about the collection, visit www.southernlivingplants.com.
