Speaker Announced for Ellison Floriculture Fall Lecture Series at Texas A&M
A reception will take place at 2 p.m. followed by Pohmers presentation at 3 p.m. at the Agriculture and Life Sciences Building, 600 John Kimbrough Blvd., College Station. The event is free and open to the public.
Pohmers topic is “How full is our bucket? We not only need rain, we need customers!”
He contends that the industry has to deal with not only Mother Nature but human nature.
“We need to get aggressive and creative in understanding the dynamics of todays and tomorrows consumer,” Pohmer said.
Pohmer has more than 26 years of retail and consumer products experience and established his consulting business in 1996 to focus on horticulture, floral, lawn and garden and other perishable and seasonal industries.
