Syngenta Introduces New FungicideSource: Syngenta

Palladium, a new foliar fungicide from Syngenta, is now registered for use on ornamental crops. Palladium uses both contact and systemic activity to protect plants from foliar and stem diseases.

Palladium contains the active ingredient cyprodinil, which protects systemically by working within the plant’s tissues to stop disease penetration and reproduction. The second active ingredient, fludioxonil, provides contact and long-lasting residual protection on the plant’s surface. These ingredients help Palladium protect against Botrytis cinerea, Alternaria spp., Cercospora spp., Myrothecium spp., Rhizoctonia spp., Sclerotinia spp., Sclerotium rolfsii and some powdery mildews.

Palladium also offers fast-acting, wettable granules for easy measuring, compatibility with a broad range of tank mix partners and low use rates of two to six ounces per 100 gallons.
