T.O. Plastics has completed facility upgrades at its production site inClearwater, Minnesota, adding extrusion lines and a pelletizer line to increase capacity and efficiency.

The thermoforming manufacturer said the investments are designed to better serve the North American horticulture market, including greenhouse and nursery growers that rely on plastic containers and related products.

All raw materials processed through the new extruding and pelletizing lines are sourced within the U.S. and are primarily post-industrial recycled materials. The company said the changes strengthen domestic sourcing and supply chain stability.

“Our team has remained dedicated to supporting our local communities and strengthening domestic manufacturing,” said Paul Meschke, president. “These investments uphold our commitment to quality, innovation and American manufacturing.”

T.O. Plastics said its vertically integrated production model allows it to manage quality control from resin processing through finished goods. The company said the expanded capacity will help it respond more quickly to demand shifts within the horticulture sector.

The Clearwater facility upgrades position the company to increase output while maintaining a focus on recycled inputs and U.S.-based suppliers.
