UF Online Greenhouse Training Courses Set to Begin in June

The  University of Florida IFAS Extension is providing eight different four-week,  online greenhouse training courses in English and Spanish.

The first course of the year, Greenhouse 101, starts on June 1, 2020. This year the series will feature a new, highly requested course, Hydroponic Vegetable Production.

Other topics that will be addressed throughout the year. include: nutrient management; disease management; weed management; costing and profitability; and irrigation water quality and treatment.

Each course is completely online, and includes streaming videos, readings, and assignments. They are available any time of the day, and new modules are activated each week during the course.

Experienced university instructors are available for help and interactive discussions. Graduates receive a personalized certificate of completion.
