UF to Offer Online Advanced Nutrient Management Course

The University of Florida Greenhouse Training Online courses will offer a course on Nutrient Management 2 (Advanced) that starts Aug. 31.

The course is designed to help participants make better crop management decisions by learning in-depth aspects of plant nutrition management.

Nutrient Management 2 (Advanced) is the third course of the Greenhouse Online Training courses offered by the University of Florida IFAS Extension.

This course is advanced level and designed for an experienced, well-trained greenhouse or nursery grower of transplants, ornamental or vegetable crops.

Topics covered include fertilizer calculations, pH management, how to formulate your own fertilizer from individual salts, and diagnose nutritional problems and take corrective actions. The course is offered in English and Spanish.

The course runs  Aug. 31 to Sept. 25, 2020 and includes a personalized certificate of completion. The cost is $199 per participant, with discounts if you register 5 or more. The last day to register is Sept. 7, 2020.

Over four weeks, there are streaming video lessons, discussions, readings and assignments (about four hours total commitment per week), which can be accessed at any time of day and paced at your convenience. Click here to register.
