USDA Sets New Date for Comment Period on Hemp Rule
The USDA published an interim final rule for the Domestic Hemp Production program on Oct. 31, 2019. The USDA then opened a 60 day public comment period, which was originally scheduled to close on Dec. 30, 2019.
The agency has announced that the comment period will be extended to Jan. 29, 2020, to allow more time for people to formulate and submit comments.
