Vivid Canopy celebrates first year advancing diversity

Vivid Canopy, a networking group focused on diversity and inclusion in CEA, marks its first anniversary. Launched at Cultivate 2023, the group has organized key events to connect professionals and promote opportunities for underrepresented communities in the industry.

In its inaugural year, Vivid Canopy hosted several events, including a panel and roundtable at Indoor Ag-Con in Las Vegas, a networking happy hour at Cultivate in Columbus, and a breakfast panel at the CEAg World Conference in Raleigh. Each event sparked discussions about diversity, equity, and inclusion in CEA, fostering collaboration among industry leaders.

“We’re excited about the impact Vivid Canopy has made in such a short time and are looking forward to continuing to build on this momentum,” said JANE DOE, executive director of Vivid Canopy.

Looking ahead, the group plans to host a panel and roundtable discussion at Indoor Ag-Con on March 11, 2025, featuring speakers from Impact Justice. Vivid Canopy continues to expand resources and opportunities for CEA professionals committed to inclusion.
