Young floral professionals to gather in Dallas for Next Gen LIVE!

The Society of American Florists (SAF) will host its 4th annual Next Gen LIVE! conference in Dallas from Feb. 23-25, 2025, offering young professionals in the floral industry opportunities to build skills, gain insights and connect with peers.

The event features leadership sessions tailored to emerging industry professionals. Highlights include Leading in the Fast Lane, where Laura Walsh from Smithers Oasis will explore how digital skills and adaptability can drive change, and Managing Up, Down and All Around, focusing on aligning with leadership and building trust within teams.

“This conference offers incredible value, especially for newcomers to the industry,” said Sheldon Jensen, a Next Gen committee member from Flowers By Michelle in Las Vegas. “Learning from peers and professionals about daily challenges and growth opportunities is invaluable.”

Participants will also gain hands-on skills through workshops like Confident Connections, enhancing customer interactions, and AI Unleashed, introducing practical uses of artificial intelligence in marketing and productivity.

Attendees can tour the Dr. Delphinium Design Center and preview floral trends from the Creative Cartel, a group of innovative florists.

Networking opportunities, including social events and the Supplier Showcase, will allow participants to build lasting industry relationships.
