GCA Partnership To Communicate New Plant Intros
“This partnership along with the Commence Corporation partnership announced in February complete the needed ingredients to position independent retail garden centers as ‘the’ place for consumers to find the newest introductions in plants,” said Clint Albin, project manager for GCA’s Fashion In Bloom.
During Fashion In Bloom, editors from across the Better Homes and Gardens’ Special Interest Media will be present at each of the event’s two locations: Conard Pyle will feature James Baggett, editor, Nature’s Garden; Homestead Growers in Davidson, Md., will feature Doug Hall, editor, Garden Deck and Landscape and Luke Miller, editor of Garden Ideas & Outdoor Living.
The Better Homes and Gardens Web site, www.bhg.com, will promote the event each day to its magazine readers through editor blogs, which will post live from the show. As part of the partnership, GCA’s www.hotnewplants.com Web site will become a plant locator on bhg.com for its 22 million visitors.
