Accomplishments
- Helped establish new product development process in the United States for a global breeding company based in Europe — including setting up and managing trial locations in Georgia, Florida and California. Two notable vinca series were developed as a result of her work.
- Was instrumental in developing the Vegetalis home garden vegetable assortment and selecting vegetable hybrids that performed for growers and consumers alike.
Extracurricular
Outside of the Greenhouse: During her downtime, Amy enjoys sailing, bee keeping, hiking and gardening (of course!). She also enjoys horseback riding. “Horseback riding was my first love and I used to train horses for a living.”
