2024 PlantCon International held Labor Day weekend

PlantCon International Dallas, a global non-profit plant convention is scheduled for Labor Day weekend from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1, 2024.

Following two successful years in Houston, the overwhelming support from the community has prompted PlantCon to extend its roots to Dallas, Texas.

The convention will feature a marketplace with over 150 local and international vendors, offering an extensive array of plants and plant-related products. From rare to beginner-friendly plants, the marketplace caters to diverse tastes, including aroids, orchids, carnivorous plants, bonsai, aquatics, florals, hoya, natives, cacti, herbs and more.

As a special feature in Dallas, PlantCon will include reptiles, amphibians and aquatic animals. “We’re thrilled to bring PlantCon to Dallas with a unique, exclusive, and brand new dimension to the experience that includes reptiles, amphibians, aquatic life and more! The unbelievable support we’ve received over the past two years has made this possible, and we can’t wait to share this expanded event with our community and visitors from around the world,” said Kenny Nguyen, founder of PlantCon.

The event includes workshops and presentations led by experts across various industries and covers topics including plant care, propagation, native plants and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with some of the biggest brands in the industry and learn from industry experts all in one place.

PlantCon International, organized by local non-profit With Heart Collective, serves as a platform to unite plant enthusiasts worldwide. This immersive weekend experience caters to both beginners and seasoned hobbyists, fostering connections and bridging the gaps within the diverse realms of the plant hobby PlantCon Dallas offers attendees the opportunity to stay at the Marriott with a discounted rate and free parking.
