The ACT Summit has announced its 2026 event series centered on energy management, efficiency and operational resilience for greenhouse growers across Canada.

The theme, “Resilience in a High-Demand World: Energy, Efficiency, and the Future of Greenhouse Growing,” reflects ongoing challenges in controlled environment agriculture, including rising energy costs and increasing production demands.

Three regional events are scheduled in key greenhouse markets. The first will be held March 31, 2026, at the Roma Clubin Leamington, Ontario. Additional events are set for May 6, 2026, at Northview Golf & Country Club in Langley, British Columbia, and Sept. 9, 2026, at Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec.

Each event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with lunch, followed by afternoon education sessions focused on practical strategies growers can apply in greenhouse operations. Topics include climate management, lighting strategies, energy efficiency and resource optimization.

Organizers said the sessions are designed to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration among growers and industry partners. Events will conclude with a networking reception.

Registration is open for the March 31 event on the ACT Summit website.
