AmericanHort Helps Ag Secretary Ring Opening Bell on New York Stock Exchange
On March 19, representatives of AmericanHort participated in the ringing of the New York Stock Exchange opening bell with Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue.
Ed and Gail Overdevest of Overdevest Nurseries in Bridgeton, New Jersey, along with Tal Coley, AmericanHort’s director of government affairs , attended the ceremony. In addition to AmericanHort, Perdue was joined by other leading agricultural trade associations.
“It was an incredible experience and I’m excited for our organization,” said Coley. “We would like to thank Secretary Perdue and his team for inviting us to participate.”
