
Apply to be a member of the AmericanHort Board today
Eligible AmericanHort members are invited to submit applications or nominate an industry leader for the Board of Directors.
Applications will be accepted between now and Feb. 14, 2025. Nominations can be completed online at aAmericanhort.org/boardapply, with elections scheduled to take place in March.
AmericanHort is governed by a group of dedicated horticultural professionals, rooted in a desire to serve and strengthen industry businesses.
“Each year we look forward to selecting a few exceptional industry leaders to join the AmericanHort Board of Directors,” said Ken Fisher, President and CEO. “New leaders are vital to our organization and help shape the future of AmericanHort and the horticulture industry.”
Once the slate of nominees is finalized, AmericanHort members will vote to approve the new directors and officers during the voting period, which begins in March.
AmericanHort will officially install newly elected directors and officers on Sunday, July 13, during the membership meeting held before the keynote address at Cultivate’25, in Columbus, OH.

- Board vice chairman, Kent Fullmer, Fullmer’s Landscaping, Ohio
- Board treasurer, J. Harvey Cotton Jr. Horticultural Consultant and Author, Alabama
