Aris Helps Ohio Town Celebrate Mum Fest

Every fall for the past 28 years, Barberton, Ohio, has celebrated Mum Fest in the town’s Lake Anna Park. Attendance over the years has grown to about 40,000 visitors.

This year the park exploded with color as 17,000 chrysanthemums created over a million mum blooms in a rainbow of color.

The planting design changes annually and this year’s garden theme was a tribute to Rock and Roll.

Aris Horticulture, headquartered in Barberton,  has been donating the mum cuttings each year since 1990.

New Aris additions this year included Dendranthema Igloo perennial mums from Must Have Perennials.

Mum Fest 2018 is a cooperative effort involving the City of Barberton Beautification Program, Aris Horticulture, Inc., and the Barberton Community Foundation.
