Atticus names Jon Boljesic chief legal officer
Atticus has appointed Jon Boljesic as chief legal officer, a newly created position designed to strengthen the company’s legal strategy and support growth initiatives.
In his role, Boljesic will lead cross-functional legal efforts, drive competitive advantage, and elevate industry engagement for Atticus, a company operating in the pesticide sector.
Boljesic joins Atticus from Envu, where he served as general counsel and led a global team overseeing legal and compliance matters across the organization. He previously held multiple roles at Bayer CropScience and began his career in private practice, focusing on patent litigation before federal courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the International Trade Commission.
“Jon’s appointment positions Atticus for long-term, sustainable success,” the company said in a statement.
Boljesic holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Outside of work, he lives with his wife, Vinca, and their three daughters. He enjoys following Michigan football, reading, cooking and golfing.
The new position reflects Atticus’s ongoing focus on building a strategically aligned and responsible organization while exploring new growth opportunities in the horticulture and pesticide industries.
