Bailey adds new members to the sales team

Johanna George and Paul Hassing join the Bailey Sales team as Territory Sales Representatives

Johanna George and Paul Hassing have joined the Bailey sales team as the newest territory sales representatives. George will partner with customers in southeast Minnesota, Eastern Iowa and Missouri. Hassing will partner with customers in the Twin Cities, Northeast Minnesota and Western Ontario upon the retirement of Bailey sales representative Ken Banaszewski.

Banaszewski’s attention to detail, patience, integrity and sense of humor will be greatly missed, but we wish him all the best in his much-deserved retirement.

Johanna George joins the team at Bailey with over 20 years of experience in the industry, many of which were spent working in retail, managing employees, growing perennials and selling trees, shrubs and evergreens. “Assisting people with plants brings me the most joy. I look forward to partnering with my customers to supply them with quality, industry-leading products,” shared George. “We are so excited to have Johanna join the Bailey team as her experience will benefit our customers whether they are a retailer, grower, or re-wholesaler. Her passion for plants and customer service will no doubt help our customers be successful,” added Dan Bailey, sales manager.

Paul Hassing started at Bailey 25 years ago, working in many areas across the company, including container inventory, bareroot production and, most recently, in planning and administration with plant production and purchasing. “Paul brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and excitement to his new role and will provide our customers with great service and expertise to help them be successful,” stated Bailey. “I feel fortunate to have been able to work with Bailey Nurseries over the last 25 years and look forward to developing relationships and building on partnerships with the customers that have been such a big part of what makes working at Bailey’s so rewarding,” commented Hassing.
