Berger celebrates 60th anniversary in Québec
Berger received a public distinction by Amélie Dionne, MNA for Rivière-du-Loup – Témiscouata, on Thursday, April 20, in Québec.
During her statement, Dionne praised the 60th anniversary of Berger, and reiterated the company’s outstanding contribution to the socio-economic scene of its region while highlighting the leadership of Valérie and Mélissa Berger.
“We are deeply touched by this incredible tribute paid to our business”, said Valérie Berger, Co-CEO of Berger. “It is not every day you get to hear the name of Berger in a legendary and mythical place such as the National Assembly of Québec.”
Founded in March 1963, the third-generation family business currently operates 11 harvesting sites, 9 production plants in North America and employs over 800 professionals located right across Canada, United States and Central America.
“Needless to say that we would like to share this amazing acknowledgement with all of our clients, our partners and more specifically our dedicated teams”, added Mélissa Berger, Co-CEO of Berger. “We also have a special thought for all the past generations of employees that paved the way for our growth as well as those who have succeeded each other at the helm of the family business; this honor would not have been possible without their invaluable input and inestimable support.”
