Biome Delta has formed a distribution partnership with Quantified Sensor Technology to provide a wireless monitoring suite for climate and fertigation systems to North American greenhouse growers.

Under the agreement, Biome Delta and its channel partners will integrate Quantified’s wireless sensor network into the technology stacks of mid- and high-tech greenhouses across the United States and Canada. The system is designed to deliver granular data at the climate, root zone and plant levels to support operational and crop management decisions.

A core component is the InSight data platform and API, which integrates with several greenhouse control platforms, including Priva, Source.ag, Let’sGrow.com and IIVO.

The solution includes the FireFly node, which gathers climate data and serves as a communications hub for connected sensors. Hardware options include an infrared thermometer to monitor plant-level evapotranspiration, a smart gutter to track fertigation and root zone parameters such as EC, pH, temperature and slab weight and a crop weight monitor for high-wire crops such as tomatoes and cucumbers.

The system is intended to help growers optimize climate control, fertigation strategies and labor efficiency while improving visibility into plant and root health.

The companies said the partnership will expand access to data-driven monitoring tools for commercial greenhouse operations seeking to improve resource use and crop performance.
