Bloomin’ Easy partners with Pacific Plug & Liner to expand perennial supply

Bloomin’ Easy Plants has announced a partnership with Pacific Plug & Liner (PP&L) to expand the supply of its perennial products across North America.

The agreement also includes PP&L’s parent company, Smith Gardens, a supplier of finished perennials and hydrangeas to mass merchants in the Pacific Northwest. The partnership is intended to increase availability of Bloomin’ Easy varieties for growers and retailers.

Bloomin’ Easy said demand for its perennial and shrub genetics has grown, citing interest from broker companies at recent industry events.

“Partnering with PP&L will make the product more available to growers and consumers,” said DeVonne Friesen, president, Bloomin’ Easy Plants.

PP&L supplies perennial inputs and will support production and distribution under the agreement.

“Our partnership [will help] bring the brand to another level,” said Phil Nienaber, general manager, PP&L.
